To come down from their high horse and consort with the common folk, away from their corporate jobs next to the shops at Best Buy corporate HQ. The only reason it exists is to be a beta testing store for corporate HQ Best Buy don't have to travel from Penn Ave to Mall of America. They can get their exercise and walk a whole 15 minutes or drive 5 minutes to use the Lyndale Shops Best Buy as their corporate test site.
I go here only to their landsend store. If you visit them around February/March or towards the end of the winter season you'll get amazing deals on their winter jackets. They have beautiful colors and very warm.
Exactly what you'd expect from a little strip mall. Ample parking and now a Panera bread!
Shopping center for specific things. This is not a general shopping center. There are a few food places, a baby superstore, a pet superstore, a Lands End outlet store a Best Buy and an Ulta cosmetics store. Oh, and a nail salon. There is lot of parking. Access to streets and the freeways is kind of strange.
No wonder Amazon is winning. Came in to buy a micro SD card. Wandered the store for a couple laps with no luck. Asked an employee and, conveniently for him, here pointed to the backside of a Microsoft display across the store and walked away. All that was over there were USB flash drives. I gave up and walked out.
You have a Best Buy, Baby's r us, and a ton of remodeling going on along with a Petco and some other more upper crust stores for those who feel the need to show off a new car every year, across 494 is a few car dealerships to flaunt their new Audi, Lexus, BMW or whatever suits their ego.
