Great place to hike and ski in the cities. Short loop in the heart of the cities. Around 3 miles or so.
2 Mile perimeter trail. Lots of fun activities for families and young kids. Great wild life. If it has rained recently, some of the outer trail will probably be flooded. Joining the Friends of Woodlake (F.O.W.L.) means that your contribution goes directly to the nature center. If you rent skis or snowshoes, that revenue goes to the parks board and has to be redistributed to Woodlake. Holloween, New Years, candle light adult walks, honey bee extraction, maple syrup production, etc.. Lots of cool activities.
Very pretty place. Their events are very fun and educational for kids. Mine had a lot of fun and didn't want to leave. Clean restrooms and inside area.
Wonderful place to walk sometimes there's beavers, deer ,foxes. In the city but it feels like you're in the woods. They have a lot of activities for kids which is wonderful. I love walking here and meeting wonderful people is lots of beautiful birds and great place to take beautiful pictures.
Great place to go for walks, even in winter, and they do birthday parties for kids, our 4 year old had lots of fun playing I there space.
